Join Our January Online Information Sessions
As we prepare for an exciting new season in Nebraska Job’s Daughters, the Grand Family is opening the door to deeper conversations about how our organization grows, adapts, and empowers its members—especially our Daughters.
This January, we’re hosting a series of Jobie Law Online Information Sessions designed to help members better understand how Jobie Law works, how amendments are shaped, and why the topic of formalizing Daughter Voting Delegates matters so much for the future of our jurisdiction.
Whether you are brand-new, seasoned, or somewhere in between, these sessions are for everyone.
Session Dates & Times
Each session will cover the same material, so members can choose the option that fits their schedule:
Sunday, January 11 – 4:00 PM CT
Monday, January 12 – 7:00 PM CT
Tuesday, January 13 – 7:00 PM CT

Why These Sessions Matter
Jobie Law is the framework that guides how we operate—how decisions are made, how officers function, and how members participate in shaping our organization. But many members rarely get the chance to learn about this process in a friendly, discussion-based environment.
These sessions are designed to change that.
Members will walk away with:
A clear, simple overview of what Jobie Law is
A step-by-step understanding of how amendments are proposed and decided
Space for questions and open conversation
A look at how member voices—especially Daughter voices—can help shape our future
Spotlight Topic: Daughter Voting Delegates
One of the most meaningful discussions we’ll begin is the possibility of formalizing Daughter Voting Delegates in Nebraska.
Why is this important?
Because empowering Daughters with a structured, recognized voting role:
Strengthens youth leadership
Ensures the voices of those most impacted by our decisions are heard
Helps Daughters learn real-world governance and civic participation
Builds confidence, ownership, and long-term commitment to the organization
Aligns with the spirit of Job’s Daughters—preparing young women to be capable, informed leaders
While no amendment is being introduced yet, these sessions are an opportunity to begin the conversation together, understand the needs and goals across the state, and ensure the path forward is shaped by our membership.
What You’ll Experience in the Session
Members can expect:
A welcoming, judgment-free space to learn
Helpful visuals and explanations
Real examples of how the amendment process works
Open discussion time
Guidance on what happens next in the conversation about Daughter Voting Delegates
Both adults and Daughters are encouraged to ask questions, share insights, and learn how they can take part in this important stage of our organization’s growth.
Who Should Attend?
Everyone. These sessions are intentionally designed for:
Daughters who want to understand their role in shaping Job’s Daughters
Adults who want clarity on Jobie Law and the amendment process
Bethel Council members seeking guidance for supporting their Daughters
Families interested in how Job's Daughters is evolving
If you care about the future of our jurisdiction, these sessions are for you.
