Hello Nebraska Jobies! I am Haylea and I am thrilled to represent the state as Miss Nebraska Job’s Daughter this year! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and share in our love for H.I.K.E.
I am 20 years old and a proud member of Bethel #18. In my many years in Job’s Daughters, I have held many Grand positions and many positions in my own bethel as well! I am currently attending Iowa Western Community College where I am currently on track for a Licensed Practical Nursing Degree. I currently work at a Doctor’s office as a CNA while working on my degree.
As Miss Nebraska Job’s Daughter, I am in charge of raising money for H.I.K.E. our philanthropic project. Only I would like to bring Nebraska Job’s Daughters back to the WHO the project is, not the WHAT. WHO is the children who are in need of the gift of hearing improvements. I’d also like to invite those H.I.K.E. recipients to various activities throughout the year. Another project I’d like to share with you is the H.I.K.E Calendars. Where the Bethel or person that raises the most amount of money that month will be featured in that month's calendar page! Then we will sell the calendar next year as an added fundraiser. I’d love to see each and every one of you be featured in our calendar. Lastly, I plan to have many Heros- 4- HIKE-athons at various times this year where we dress up as our favorite superhero’s and take a walk for HIKE!
