Hello, my name is Lauren and I am honored to be your Miss Nebraska Congeniality for the 2021-2022 “Magic of Youth” Grand year! I joined Job’s Daughters right after I turned 10 years old, and have been blessed to serve 3 terms as Honored Queen for Bethel #5, Lincoln, during my 8 years in this amazing organization. I am currently interning at Duncan Aviation as a Parts Runner. I will be attending Southeast Community College this fall to start working towards an Associate of Applied Science degree in Non-Destructive Testing. After graduating, I hope to continue working in the aviation industry.
As Miss Nebraska Congeniality, my focus is membership. I plan to encourage our state to increase our membership by keeping in contact with our Spirit Ambassadors. Our Spirit Ambassadors are there to help their assigned Bethels keep enthusiasm and spirit, and by doing this, it can even help to retain membership!
I also plan to increase the activity in our Beehives. This will be done by encouraging our Jobie to Bees to participate in the Jobie to Bee Passport that I have created. In each passport, there are a variety of activities to complete, and there are prizes that can be earned! These prizes will be awarded at Grand 2022. A Bee can earn a prize if she completes 6 of the activities in the Passport, and earn an additional prize if she completes all 12 of the activities.
